we come. and we go. sex and death - Eros and Thanatos – the twin drivers of our life. the French knew it when they called the Big O “la petite mort”. desire one or both, fear a bit of the other.  "locked and loaded" my collars play with the symbolism of pleasure and passing, beauty and decay, feeling lust and lost at the same time. I create these “art décolletage” pieces using old and new fabric, hand beading, feathers, pearls, framed miniatures and found and treasured possessions. I am the curator of these surreal and decorative elements, bringing them together unexpectedly to create something extraordinary. these are fashion heirlooms to be cherished, like a delicious secret.
